And here it is: the worst song of the 90s, as voted by Rolling Stone’s readers. It’s Aqua’s Barbie Girl, and while it’s certainly a shitter, I think there’s possibly more going on here that they’re given credit for (as with I’m Too Sexy).
Still probably not fit for human consumption however. And a close reading of the lyrics would suggest that it shouldn’t ever be played within earshot of children.
